Q: Why haven't I seen any information in the newsletter in recent months regarding Annual Seasonality or your Sector Rotation strategy?
A: One reason for the SMI newsletter's growth over the years is it has always been simple enough for new investors to jump aboard and understand it. But we love digging into advanced topics as well, and our experienced readers crave those in-depth studies and strategies. So when we redesigned the SMI website in late 2003, we made a decision to keep the print newsletter focused on "the SMI basics" — the Four Levels approach to advancing financially and our two primary investing strategies, Just-the-Basics and Fund Upgrading. Advanced topics and strategies are now addressed on the SMI website.
Separating the material in this way allows newer readers to focus on implementing the core SMI material, while still providing a venue for us to pursue advanced topics with readers who want the additional depth. The Advanced Strategies page 
and the Editors' Weblog contain a wealth of information regarding SMI's Sector Rotation strategy and Annual Seasonality studies.
