Fund Performance Rankings To Expand

Good news! We will soon add more pages to our Fund Performance Rankings Members Exclusive Content. Each month, we receive a number of requests for new funds for the FPR. Because of space limitations, we generally add only those funds that are requested by multiple readers. This will still be the case after our expansion, but the additional pages will provide room to add a few hundred more funds.

Important: if you have requested a fund in the past that is still not in the FPR, please submit a new request for it. Because we get so many "single" requests, it eventually becomes unwieldy trying to keep track of them all. So we're clearing the decks, so to speak, of all the old requests.

To request a new fund, send an email with "New Fund Request" as the subject to "webmaster@soundmindinvesting.com". In your request, include both the name of the fund and the ticker symbol. This may require doing some digging (here's good source for finding tickers) or contacting your company's HR department. Many funds are called one thing in a company's 401(k) plan documents while the fund's official name is something altogether different.

Before requesting a new fund, it's always a good idea to look it up by ticker symbol in the SMI Personal Portfolio Tracker Members Exclusive Content. We receive many requests for funds that are already included; they are just different share classes of the same fund. Note that bond funds and duplicate index funds will not be added. Thank you! End
